Paul attended Tempe High School from 1969- 1973,graduating in 1973.He began taking cello lessons with Takayori Atsumi in 1968 for five years.Throughout high school he played with the Phoenix Youth Symphony which provided him the experience of being a member of a sizeable symphony orchestra.Only a small string symphony was available at Tempe High School.He photographed and printed pictures of Pablo Casals visit to Phoenix in early 1970’s.
He retired from the Air Force as a fighter pilot.
Currently Present and Founder of a small company (Joint Technology Engineering)in Valparaiso, Florida that writes computer programs for the military.Although no longer playing the cello Paul says that his experience with the Youth Symphony provided a lifetime appreciation for classical music.
